My house was built in 1936 and by 2012 was in need of extensive modernisation. Hubert Zuziak’s company carried out three phases of refurbishment on it, including replacing the roof, installing two new shower-rooms, completely remodelling the existing bathroom and kitchen, and extensive repairs and redecoration.
Hubert supervised the work personally, so I was in contact with him on a daily basis. He was unfailingly courteous, reliable and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of building work and explained the advantages and disadvantages of the various options clearly. His objective was to understand and meet the needs of the client. If I was dissatisfied with any aspect of the work, this was redone until I was happy with it.
Hubert’s management of the workmen was excellent. They followed his example and were likewise highly-skilled, courteous, hard-working and took great pride in their work. As building work progressed, men with the specific skills required were promptly assigned to each stage of the work. Safety was a high priority. I never heard a raised voice while Hubert and his men were working in my house.
I found Hubert to be completely trustworthy, I felt confident leaving his workmen alone in my house, and I was very pleased with the high standard of work that they delivered.
Really very good service throughout. We were in a bit of mess and the team at krakow construction pulled it all together - gave us loads of help, advice and service way beyond what was expected. Totally fluent English-speakers also made communication simpler and quicker. Very strong recommendation.
We have worked with Hubert on two major refurbishment projects, our main and second homes. Both required major structural changes, including removal of 30 tonnes of masonry to open up a large single living area and moving a staircase. Everything from these major structural changes to the quality of tiling and decorative fiishes were done to a very high standard and we have every confidence in recommending Hubert and his team.

Hubert is a superb project manager and brings a wealth of knowledge with him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his company for all building work. He has completed for me, Victorian remodelling of an old terrace in Newcastle upon tyne, replacing all old mouldings with hand crafted joinery. He has built me a loft/office extension and kitchen/diner at my home in Gosforth, UK and lastly completed a new flat build on top of an Edwardian Villa in Jesmond, whilst 4 families carried on living underneath.
